How beautiful was this location for the ceremony. I’m not sure if pictures even do it justice, because it was breathtaking.

I don’t necessarily consider myself a “wedding photographer.” I really focus more on infants, children and families. Wedding photography is a completely different type of environment and atmosphere. And y’all…it is hard. Real hard. I have so much respect for wedding photographers! Any time I’ve done anything wedding related I’ve felt like I was running around like a chicken with its head cut off! And the pressure! Oh, the pressure!

However, there have been a few instances where I’ve crossed into the wedding photography world. I’ve taken casual, candid pics at many a friends’ wedding. I’ll be doing an entire wedding here in Dallas in the Spring that I am very excited about.  Before that, most of my wedding experience has been destination weddings because of the great travel opportunity they present. I was absolutely floored when some good friends of ours asked us to come to Mexico to shoot their wedding. And we get to go to Jamaica in May to shoot a dear college friend’s wedding.

This past September we got to go to Napa Valley to shoot a wedding. A friend from worked asked if I would be interested, and we jumped at the opportunity! And that is what Wedding Week is about…to showcase some of the wedding related stuff I’ve done. First up is the girl’s preparation for Emily and Clayton’s big day in beautiful Napa!
