Welcome to the Emily Mulkey Photography Blog!

Emily Mulkey Photography is all about casual and classic photography. My style is very relaxed and comfortable and I specialize in infant and children photography. As a Certified Child Life Specialist at a children's hospital, I pride myself on creating an environment during your session that is comfortable and age-appropriate for your children. I love taking pictures of adults and families as well. Please visit my actual website by clicking on the "Website" link at the top of the blog.

I want this blog to be the gathering place for Emily Mulkey Photography. It is in this space where I will post previews for clients, make announcements, update everyone on photo days or specials, and probably include some personal photos or thoughts along the way. Feel free to leave comments and let me know what you enjoy and what you think!

Make sure to bookmark us and come back and check often! Also, there is a subscribe feature on this blog in the menu at the bottom where you can enter your email address and be alerted when we update!

Thanks to you all for your support and interest! Let's get to blogging...

Teen Session: Callie

Callie is Husband/Assistant’s littlest cousin. Both of our littlest cousins graduated from high school this year and it was so fun to take both of their Senior pics. Callie is a very talented flautist and was drum major at her high school. She is taking those musical skills eastward to SFA and we’re very excited for her!

Teen Session: Guy

Senior pics are such a nice change of pace. And it is so fun to talk to the seniors about their plans for the future! Guy here is going to play basketball in college and was just so excited about all the possibilities before him!

Family Session: The Cousins B

Hello again! Well, full time job #1 and Husband/Assistant’s full time job got a little busy there. And as always, the blog and facebook always take a back seat when that happens. I wish that wasn’t the case, but that is how it has to be for now. Add to that a busy travel May, including a trip to Jamaica to shoot a dear friend’s wedding that I cannot wait to share! So please allow me to try to get caught up here. As you’ll see from some of the pictures, these were taken a little while ago (ie: the tulips are long gone from the Arboretum!).

I absolutely love these types of cousin sessions because it always reminds me of the fun I had with my cousins when we were younger. And these kids are all just too cute!
